We have a block of rooms reserved for the conference for up to 4 nights ( May 18 – May 22).  Rooms can be reserved by contacting the High Peaks front desk and mentioning the moose conference.  Rooms are  $144 + tax.  If you would like to extend your stay beyond the conference reservation dates, you will need to contact the resort directly to let them know.

In May, Lake Placid experiences a transition from spring to the unofficial beginning of summer, with temperatures gradually warming and a chance of both rain and lingering possibility of some mixed precipitation or even a bit of snow, especially in the earlier part of the month. 

·       Highs: Increase from around 57°F (14°C) at the beginning of May to about 66°F (19°C) by the end of the month.

·       Lows: Increase from approximately 35°F (2°C) to 45°F (7°C) during May.

·       Note: While warmer, expect cooler nights and mornings, especially in early May.
